I like Mr Chia and I enjoyed his lessons. My teacher is very funny, cool and friendly. He knows how I need to improve, and he gives me a good plan which helped me to get top 3 for English. The materials and worksheets provided are also good, and the notes that we write during class also helps me to prepare for PSLE. He understands all sorts of problems and is very experienced.
From parent: Mr. Chia is a passionate and dedicated trained teacher who seeks to understand his student and customises a teaching style that works best on him or her. Under his tutelage, my son has shown much improvements in his language skills even though it was less than a year prior to PSLE. Mr Chia provides a very unique form of teaching. I really enjoyed the writing classes, especially the different ways to write a composition like how to add suspense or other interesting techniques not taught in school. I also enjoyed the practices, and reading the composition notes. I was happy when I found out that my essay score improved from 30/55 to 37.5/55 for my prelims. I also managed to make a visible improvement in my oral performance, improving from 22/30 to 28/30 for my prelim oral exams. Mr. Chia is also very humourous and he works very hard to help us to improve our writing, grammar and comprehension It is not easy to find a good tutor for PSLE English, and I am glad that I have Mr. Chia to help me

Mr Roger has been my English tutor in 2021. I joined the P5/P6 class in April 2021. When I came in, I was not doing well and was just passing English. For the end-of-year exams, I made a big improvement in Open-Ended Comprehension, Listening, Oral Communication, Synthesis and Transformation, Grammar Cloze and Situational Writing!

Mr Roger was my English tutor in 2021. His lessons were very fun and engaging. He built my confidence and interest in the subject.
He exposed me with different ideas and vocabulary in writing. He gave me honest advice to improve on my oral communication skills and writing as well.
I have also improved on my oral communication skills, and especially comprehension cloze and Synthesis & Transformation.
I look forward to joining his and illum.e's class again when I go into Secondary One.

My teacher, Ms Teo Yin Xuan, is a person who is sociable and willing to provide outstanding knowledge to her students. I enjoyed the way she taught the class. She would guide us one by one to ensure that everyone in the class kept up with the pace. Furthermore, when I was having issues with my oral, she would provide me with some useful notes that were from other schools so that I can get more practice. Overall, her lesson is quite manageable and reasonable.
She would provide the bulk of the teaching content and supplemental materials such as articles and practices. Furthermore, she would go through the strategies step by step to ensure that everyone has understood.
I would like to thank my teacher for all the hard work she had done for me and guided me through all the problems that I have. I would recommend my teacher to other students because she would pass the relevant information to the students and ensure that they've got the most relevant knowledge to succeed.
